Heidelberg Old Town - Neckar River

In the second evening, participants may join the cruise trip on the Neckar River to discover the charm of Heidelberg and its surroundings, to enjoy the beauty of the region and talk to your colleagues in an informal and enjoyable environment. A light buffet dinner will be served on the cruise.

Participation Details

Participants may join the Heidelberg Cruise for free. However, only participants registering to the event in our online management platform (ConfTool) will be granted access to the cruise. Participants are welcome to bring their partners and guests (max. 2 persons), but must pay a small contribution of EUR 20 for them online. Participants may come in casual attire.

Conference attendees can still join the cruise if other attendees give up their seats prior to the cruise. For more information, please come to the registration desk on Thursday.

Transportation

Buses have been chartered for conference participants and their guests. Please make sure to be in the main courtyard of Mannheim Palace on time (access only with Heidelberg Cruise tickets). We will inform participants about the bus schedule to the cruise and back to Mannheim in due course.

Location

The cruises will start on the Neckar River in Ladenburg at 6.45 pm. The trip to Heidelberg will take approximately three hours.
