New Frontiers in Finance - Insurance Markets

|

The EFA launches a new one-day workshop series for PhD students who are in their second or third year. The topic changes from year-to-year and the 2017 topic is: Insurance Markets. During the workshop, we summarize the recent research on insurance markets, discuss the data that is available, some of the relevant regulatory frameworks in both Europe and the US, and potential directions for future research.

All three chairs will provide a lecture on the Wednesday before the EFA Annual Meeting officially begins (that same evening). As part of the doctoral workshop program, accepted students are expected to participate in and will receive a free pass to the main EFA 2017 Mannheim conference. Moreover, on the Tuesday evening before the doctoral workshop, there will be a welcome dinner for all students and faculty presenters.

Dates: August 23, 2017 (welcome dinner on August 22, 2017).
Topic: Insurance Markets
