The European Finance Association is a non-profit association with scientific and pedagogical objectives. Therefore, all annual meetings including the EFA 2017 Annual Meeting in Mannheim, Germany, are heavily funded by external organizations. Without the financial support of these entities, it would not be possible to complete a successful meeting.
